Squash Courts at Sport & Fitness

Squash is a great sport for both beginners and elite athletes as no matter what level you’re playing at, it is guaranteed to raise your heart rate and improve agility in a fun and social setting.

UoB Sport & Fitness has a huge range of squash and racketball opportunities suited to all ages and abilities including: introductory coaching courses, social sessions, recreational and competitive leagues and events.

Our six glass back squash courts offer one of the best squash experiences in Birmingham. Three of them are show courts with 200 spectator seats and three courts also have the ability to be converted into two international standard doubles courts.

How to Book

The lead person booking a squash court must be a squash member of Sport & Fitness (this includes anyone who has squash included in their membership, for example, inclusive members and Prime members).

Up to two guests can attend a squash booking with a member. All guests must book a guest session online, in advance, for the same time as the lead person has booked the court.

Guests / additional players attending the booking do not need to be a squash member, or any type of Sport & Fitness member, however, they must book and pay for a guest session.

Guest Prices

Student: £3.40

Staff & Community Member: £3.40

Adult Non-Member: £4.20

Junior: £2.50

Social Squash

Squash is a social sport and we host two sessions per week to encourage our members to meet new squash partners in a friendly and relaxed environment. Social Squash is open to all members of any ability. You’ll get the chance to play others members of a similar standard to develop your gameplay. We will also host social events and competitions throughout the year which all our members will be invited to, offering you another chance to meet the Sport & Fitness squash community.

Friday evenings 6 – 9pm and Sunday mornings 10.40am – 12.40pm

These sessions do not need to be booked in advance and both peak and off-peak members can attend.
