STUDENT CLUB
University of Birmingham Touch Rugby is an extremely fun, friendly and social club where everyone is welcome of all abilities. Whether you have played touch before or never even picked up a rugby ball you are all welcome to join. Touch rugby is a mixed sport and is a great way to get fit whilst also having a great time.
We’re a laid-back club but we do compete in the National Touch Series which is for people who like a more competitive side as well! We provide two training sessions a week. One is aimed at more casual players and skill development. The other is competition preparation for players who would like to represent the club and university at tournaments.
We are the newest sports club at UoB Sport, founded in 2020!

The club frequently train on the state-of-the-art Bournbrook 3G pitches, right here on campus.
GYM
Our state-of-the-art gym is available for all your strength and conditioning needs.

COMPETITION OPPORTUNITIES
The club run a tournament hosted in Birmingham that multiple universities enter each year.
Membership Price

£59.50 annual membership includes:
- Travel to BUCS Rounds
- ETA Membership
- BUCS R1 to 5 entry fee
- Taster sessions included 1hr per week x 2 weeks
- Maximum x 23 weeks x 2 hrs per week training
- Sport related equipment provided
Extra – compulsory
BUCS R1 to 5 match fees – £10 per game x 4 games
Extra – not compulsory

- Summer touch tournament
- Individual club clothing purchased – varied on price
