Women's Cricket Equipment
The University of Birmingham Women’s Cricket Club is made up of a mixture of women, from first years to post-graduates, who train once a week at the renowned Edgbaston Cricket Stadium. We cater to all abilities from girls who have never held a bat before, to girls who have played for County. They train weekly with the help of a Warwickshire County coach as well as an Alumni Coach.
They compete in the BUCS Indoor League during the Winter and then in the Summer they compete in the BUCS Southern Premier League.
How to get involved
Taster session and/or trial information will be available soon. The membership fee is £120 which gets reduced to £60 in Term 2 and £50 over the summer.
Please note that on top of the club fee there is a £16 fee that covers personal accident insurance when training or competing for the University, access to free cross-training sessions such as circuits and yoga, as well as a contribution to the costs of affiliation to various national governing bodies. This fee is only payable once so if you did decide to join a second club then you would not need to pay a second fee.
