Gymnastics

UoB Gymnastics is an inclusive and diverse sports club at the University of Birmingham. There is a wide variety in member ability from those who have been doing gymnastics since they were 5 years old to members who started when they came to university. The club ranges from novice through to elite level. We work hard but never take ourselves too seriously and always train with a smile on our face.

There are plenty of chances to compete throughout the year at University Gymnastics Cup (UGC) competitions and also BUCS. We aim to take members to at least 4 competitions per year and no matter what your level, we always encourage and support gymnasts to compete and simply give things a go.

UoB Gymnastics are currently the UGC Champions for the 2019/2020 season. With some medallists having done gymnastics for years at the elite and advanced levels, but also some members who started gymnastics at university and have progressed to compete and win medals in the advanced, intermediate and novice levels. At competitions, we always endeavour to be the most supportive club there.
