Men’s Rugby Union

Whether you’re an aspiring professional, or enjoy recreational rugby, the University of Birmingham offers players the opportunity to enjoy Rugby Union at every level. There are opportunities for everyone to maximise their development. The men’s first team is a performance club benefitting from extensive strength and conditioning and sports science support, ensuring a professional approach is taken to every aspect of training and development.

With four league teams and a 5th XV providing extra fixtures, the club offers a truly all inclusive experience. The club train on a 3G pitch and have access to the state-of-the-art Performance Centre for sports science and medicine support.

The membership fee is TBC

Please note that on top of the club fee there is a £16 fee that covers personal accident insurance when training or competing for the University, access to free cross-training sessions such as circuits and yoga, as well as a contribution to the costs of affiliation to various national governing bodies.  This fee is only payable once so if you did decide to join a second club then you would not need to pay a second fee.
