Sports Awards 2025 | Save the date 29 May
The University of Birmingham Sport is excited to announce the Sports Awards 2025, taking place on the evening of Thursday 29 May 2025. This prestigious event will celebrate the remarkable achievements of our athletes, coaches, and volunteers from the 2024/25 academic year.
Returning to the stunning Bramall Music Building, this year’s Sports Awards will honour excellence across various categories, recognising dedication and success in team performance, coaching, individual sporting excellence, and contributions to our sporting community.

The 2024 Sports Awards were a tremendous success, welcoming over 200 guests, including Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Longworth. Notable highlights included Squash winning Club of the Year for their outstanding BUCS performance and the Squash Men’s 3s securing Regional Team of the Year after a remarkable season, winning the BUCS Squash Tier 2 League and being crowned BUCS Midlands Conference Cup Winners.
