Fitness Classes

Indoor classes will resume on Monday 17 May, and booking will be available from 12pm on Friday 14 May. You must book all classes in advance either online or via the UB Sport & Fitness app.

Please note that our indoor class timetable is subject to change, including further additions until Monday 17 May and beyond – please check back regularly! All changes will be reflected on our app and online booking system.

Outdoor Class Timetable (up to Sunday 16 May)

All classes take place on the blue hockey pitches outside Sport & Fitness. Attendees do not need to go to Sport & Fitness beforehand, simply turn up at the blue hockey pitch closest to Sport & Fitness at your class start time.

Class Guidelines

Please ensure you check the Stay Safe page for recent guidelines and updates, but see below for some essential information.

Exercise mats

Due to the COVID-19 situation, we are no longer loaning exercise/yoga mats in our studios.

We would like to remind all members to bring a mat or towel for personal use, especially for Yoga, and for your comfort in any classes where your back or knees may be in contact with the floor e.g. Body Pump, Circuits, Abs, CXWorx, Body Attack, LBT, Body Combat.

Class checklist

Before leaving home for your class, check that you have:

– Your membership ID card – to swipe in and out the building. You will NOT be able to enter without this.
– A face covering – to wear in communal areas to and from classes (unless exempt)
– A filled drinks bottle – currently no water points are available. For cardio-based classes including Cycle, we recommend bringing two.
– A sweat towel – especially for cardio and cycling classes
– An exercise mat/ yoga mat/ towel for applicable classes

Please note, in Yoga classes there are no props, blocks or straps being loaned, so you may wish to bring your own.
