BUCS Cross Country Championships 2024: Birmingham is Ready to Take on Cardiff!

This weekend, our UoB Cross Country squad is heading to Bute Park, Cardiff, for the BUCS Championships—and we couldn’t be more excited! Off the back of last year’s incredible success, where we brought home 3 out of 4 possible titles and 20 individual medals, we’re ready to give it our all once again

Chasing More History

Over the past 20 years, both our men’s and women’s teams have secured the BUCS title eight times each, with only a handful of occasions where we’ve missed out on a podium spot. The last time we clinched both the men’s and women’s team golds on the same day was back in 2016—could this be the year we do it again?

The men’s team is set for a showdown with Oxford, while the women will be battling it out against Cambridge. But as always, we back Birmingham to rise to the occasion!

Squad Line-Up:

Men’s A Team: Tomer Tarragano, Oliver Smart, Fin Proffitt, Liam Rawlings, Isaac Hirschman-Chandler, Quinn Miell-Ingram

Women’s A Team: Poppy Tank, Jess Bailey, Kate Willis, Holly Weedall
