University to celebrate Paris 2024 stars on campus

Following a spectacular summer of sport, the University of Birmingham will be celebrating an evening with some of it’s Olympic and Paralympic sporting stars next month.

Current sports scholars and staff, as well as alumni and coaches who competed and supported their nations in Paris will be in attendance at the Bramall Music Hall on the evening of Wednesday 6 November.

The PathwaytoParis evening will be hosted by the University Sport team, alongside Olympian and former student Hannah England, who herself was in Paris on media duties. Hannah will host a Q&A with a handful of Olympian and Paralympians with doors opening at 5.00pm until 6.30pm.

From hearing what it’s like to compete, to hearing more of the journey and role that Birmingham has played in their career, the evening will also be attended by the Vice-Chancellor Professor Adam Tickell and is free to attend.
