Join us for an engaging insight event that brings together athletes, alumni, and professionals from across the sport sector to explore female leadership journeys, challenges, and opportunities for women in sport. Designed as an open and welcoming space, this session encourages honest conversation, shared learning, and meaningful connection.

The event will be hosted by Hannah England, UoB Sport Hall of Famer and 2012 Olympian, who will lead a dynamic Q&A panel with guest speakers from across the sport landscape.

Just Run is a welcoming, inclusive space for students and community members to get moving in whatever way feels right for them, whether that’s walking, jogging, running, or even skipping.

Designed to be low‑pressure and accessible for all abilities, the sessions begin with a gentle warm‑up before participants choose their own pace or run with a friend.

These sessions are the perfect way to train for the Birmingham 10k or Half Marathon, or even to just get outside, get moving and support your physical and mental wellbeing while connecting with the Sport & Fitness community.

For the second time, the boxing club is bringing a night of amateur boxing to UOB campus. Munrow Arena will be transformed into a boxing showcase spectacular, hosting ten fights between UoB athletes and external athletes to display the best the sport has to offer.

With tickets starting from £5, the event offers both bleacher and ringside seating, along with a bar and a raffle, promising a night of fun and entertainment.

The 2026 English Gymnastics, Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline will take place at UoB Sport & Fitness. The event serves as a selection and qualification competition for the English Championships.
Birmingham Fencing

The annual Birmingham International Fencing Tournament, a major six-weapon event, takes place over Easter weekend at Sport and Fitness. Over the course of the two days there will be men’s and women’s Epee, Foil and Sabre with prizes awarded to the top eight fencers in each category.
Masters Badminton

This is the final event in the Masters County Championship Final series. For age groups over 40 to over 70, this event will determine the national champions for the 2025-2026 season.
Jitsu Foundation

The Jitsu Foundation Randori Nationals 2026 will be hosted in the Munrow Arena and provides and opportunity for participants to test their throwing skills against resisting opponents. There are different competitions including standing throwing, gatamae-waza and open competition.
Badminton England

The U19 Junior International Series, part of the YONEX All England Junior Badminton Championships, is being hosted in the Munrow Arena. This competition is an opportunity for participants to be awarded Badminton World Federation ranking points and promises to be an excellent display of badminton.
MacTuff X Fitness Racing

MacTuffX is exclusively held at venues which feature outdoor athletics track and infield. 10 functional fitness ‘Xercise’ which are designed to push participants through strength, endurance and grit. Between each ‘Xercise’ you run 400 metre laps of the athletics track. With solo, doubles and relays, there is something for everyone!

GB Karate Open

Toucan League | Archery

University of Birmingham Sport and Fitness hosts the final leg of the Toucan Championships. With competitors from Warwick, Loughborough, Oxford and many more, head down to sport and fitness to support UoB’s Archery team from 9:00am until 4:00pm.

Commonwealth Karate Championships
The Commonwealth Karate Championships are open to all Commonwealth karateka that are members of the WKF. Hosted in the Sport & Fitness Arena, the events took place over five days.
GB Open Karate International
Sport & Fitness played host to the WUKF’s Open Karate International. As one of the UK’s leading karate competitions, the event is open to all styles and associations.
SLAM Wrestling Open
British Wrestling’s popular Slam Wrestling Open showcases the best of wrestling, with spectators and supporters able to watch the action closely.
