Lacrosse
Student Club
The Lacross club consists of women’s, mixed, and development men’s teams.
Many of our current members and alumni represent their countries at the highest level, demonstrating the impressive standard of our competitive teams.
The success of our club has been shown throughout last season (23/24), with our Women’s 1s competing in BUCS Premier North 1, and our Womens 3’s recently being promoted.
Our incredible success continues in our development and mixed teams, where many individuals start as complete beginners and go on to play in BUCS teams as they develop their skills.
Weekly training sessions, regular match play, and all necessary kit is provided for members.
Lacrosse has a lot to offer both on and off the pitch. Our frequent socials bring all teams together, providing the perfect opportunity to celebrate and make new friends, all whilst gaining an excellent University sport experience.
Please don’t hesitate to email us or get in touch via our social media accounts for further information.

Inclusion, Accessibility and Disability Practices
The Lacrosse Club fosters inclusivity through a buddy system that pairs team members, ensuring that each player has a source of encouragement and support, particularly on match days. The inclusion officer provides follow-up support to ensure concerns are addressed, reinforcing a culture of belonging. To cater to diverse social preferences, the club organizes sober socials such as pasta nights, offering a welcoming environment outside traditional sporting events.
The club makes lacrosse accessible by adjusting membership prices, allowing new players, international students, and those with injuries to participate. A mixed team is open to all abilities, providing a platform for beginners to experience the sport. These initiatives have helped create an inclusive space where individuals of different skill levels and backgrounds can enjoy lacrosse.
