Women's Basketball

Student Club

We are the Women’s Basketball club of the University, consisting of 2 teams competing in BUCS and 1 development team. Our first team competes in Tier 1 of the Midlands region and our second team in Tier 3.

Our first and second team trains for around two to three sessions per week with around eight games throughout the academic year.

Our development team competes in Campus League every Saturday and trains one to two times per week.

We welcome players from all levels to join our club, as well as international, local or exchange students.

We host a yearly varsity event in the University – Rebellion – that involves nail-biting basketball games with hundreds of spectators.

Last year, the club went on tour in Spain for 6 days and competed against teams from all over the world and we look forward to going again this coming year.
